Now that Logiqs Agro Nederland joined Acotec everything is easier. The cooperation agreement for the production of handling/selection/plants and products transport areas has already given great results. It is in the potted plants production area that the evolution of crops grown in greenhouses is more important.
No wonder but the big development known by this sector, in other words today’s productions, has become a real industry. The lower margins compel to spare in the cost of labour but it is not always possible to drastically reduce it.
A potted plants production optimising the crop area and the different growing stages requires an extremely tested procedure.
The production and therefore the contribution margin depend on the right use of your time, your organization and your vision of the whole situation.
Only after having paid attention to all these points it will be possible to optimise the use of the space, to reduce the use of the empty greenhouse and to guarantee flexible deliveries.
You may be forced to deliver big quantities of potted plants of the required quality in the required time to avoid that your customers would go to others producers.

Nothing is left to the chance with this kind of productive “revolution”, both for potted plants and small plants. Acotec took active part in this “revolution” and when we realized that the industry we wanted to build was not the easiest in the world, we obviously asked for help to the experts in these production systems: “the Dutch”. The world leader for handling systems and working areas is Logiqs Agro who we have been cooperating with for some years and now everything is easier; the first important results are clearly evident for the joy of our customers that after a trial stage start thinking to an increase in productivity and to a better automation.

WORKING CONDITION IMPROVEMENT.

The creation of production spaces separated from the working areas improve the working conditions. Systems to reduce work, to create ideal working positions for workers, to limit the number of people inside the greenhouse in order to protect hygiene and avoid the introduction of bacteria and viruses can be adopted in the working area.

Acotec is aware of the fact that the investment is really high and that is why it is important to aim to the final purpose so as to reach it little by little.

The diagram shows the automation stages from
the simplest and most economic to the top.
