Acotec was the first company in Italy to make recycling sub-irrigation installations on benches on ground in concrete (ebb and flood on concrete).
Today many years have passed and also these technologies are changed; once more Acotec is state-of-the-art and guarantees very short sub-irrigation times to avoid the asphyxiation of the root system. The use of particular techniques permits to recycle the nutritional solutions both for the potted plants and the vegetables in the safest way in order to avoid the propagation of diseases.

SUB-IRRIGATION ON BENCHES (EBB AND FLOOD)
The nutritional solution, after having carefully checked the quality and quantity of the dissolved salts and the acidity, is sent to the benches equipped with an aluminium or polystyrene watertight crop surface (ebb). The solution, after a variable permanence time according to the crops, is drained and send to a proper storage tank. After a filtering and a further salinity control it is sent back to the benches (flood).

EBB AND FLOOD ON CONCRETE.
Acotec, pioneer in these realizations in Italy, is able to supply “ready to use” systems, including brickworks and heated floor (radiating ebb)
The installations is particularly suitable for the production of medium and big potted plants because the cultivation of plants in small pots require a so fast rotation and selection that the internal movement turns to be difficult.
In general the cost of a “ready to use” installation of ebb and flood on ground on concrete requires a slightly lower investment with respect to a sliding benches installation.
It is indeed possible an economy of the investment of about 20%. Also in this case the total surface exceeds the 95% of the whole production surface.

Acotec is… always one step ahead!
