The fog humidification plant (FOG system) is particularly important for a total climatic control of the greenhouse environment.
The fog system can be profitably used to create the ideal microclimate in the environment even in natural or induced ventilation conditions.
In summer the evaporation of droplets cools down the greenhouse profiting the adiabatic evaporation process and at the same time humidifies the environment in case of low relative humidity.
In winter the fog system restores the right humidity rate avoiding the dehydration of crops caused by the heating system.
The microclimate created by the fog system is ideal for the most delicate crops which is not possible to treat with more traditional wetting systems, for instance the propagation, the production of seedlings, the cultivation of tropical and flowered plants.
The fog installation produced by Acotec needs, for its good working, particularly poor dissolved salts water in order to avoid the clogging of nozzles; it works with a pressure higher than 70 bars transforming the water into 10 micron diameter droplets that, due to their very small dimension, stay in the air for a long time simulating the effect produced by the fog.

Acotec is… always one step ahead!
